Jessica Hopfield, Ph.D., is a former partner of McKinsey & Company in their Global Pharmaceutical and Medical Device practice. James Peterson served as CEO of Haemonetics Corporation, and after retirement has worked to bring new technologies into reality to improve the quality of life of people with diabetes. In the process he was advisor to a private equity group on their diabetes investments, founded an insulin pump company for people with type 1 diabetes, and founded an insulin infusion company for people with type 2 diabetes.
